Cancellation and Refund Policy

At PrintedMiles, every photobook is custom-designed and printed specifically for you. Because our products are personalized, they cannot be restocked or resold.

Please read our policy carefully to understand how cancellations and refunds work at different stages of your order.

1. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to you while covering the costs of our design team and payment processing.

Stage A: Cancellation Before Design Work Begins (Within 24 Hours) If you request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order—and before our design team has started working on your project:

  • You are eligible for a Full Refund.
  • Deduction: A flat 2.5% Payment Gateway Transaction Fee will be deducted from the refund amount. (This is a fee charged by the bank that is non-refundable to us).

Stage B: Cancellation After Design Proof is Shared Once our designers have completed the layout and emailed you the digital proof, time and effort have already been invested in your order.

  • If you choose to cancel at this stage (before printing starts), you will receive a 60% Refund.
  • The remaining 40% is retained to cover the design service fees.

Stage C: Cancellation After Printing / Shipping Once you approve the design (or if the order is auto-approved after 24 hours of no response) and the file is sent to our printers:

  • The order cannot be cancelled.
  • No refunds will be issued at this stage.

2. Refund Policy (Returns)

Strict No-Return Policy for “Change of Mind” Since your photobook contains your personal photos and specific text, we do not accept returns or offer refunds if you simply change your mind or decide you no longer want the product after it has been delivered.

Defective or Damaged Products We take great care in packaging, but accidents can happen during transit. If your book arrives damaged, or if there is a manufacturing defect (e.g., binding issues, printing errors):

  1. Do not worry. We offer a Free Replacement Guarantee.
  2. You must email us at support@printedmiles.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  3. Please attach clear photos or a video showing the damage/defect.
  4. Once verified, we will reprint and ship a brand-new copy to you at no extra cost.

Note: Minor color variations between your screen and the printed paper are normal in the printing industry and are not considered defects.


3. Processing of Refunds

If your cancellation request is approved according to the terms above:

  • The refund amount will be processed back to your original method of payment (Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking).
  • Please allow 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account, depending on your bank’s processing times.
